    In honor of its 70th year of teaching kids about fire safety through the Junior Fire Marshal Program, The Hartford announced a $20,000 donation split between the Hartford Fire Department and the Hartford Public Schools. To celebrate, students from West Middle Community School participated in fire-safety activities like drawing an escape map of their residence, exploring the front of a fire truck with Hartford firefighters, and crawling out of a fire safety trailer.
